The yellow cab drove to the front of broadway,the whole area lit up and colourful Karl felt his adrenaline filling him up with excitement but sadly,he had no money left to pay for a broadway ticket,he knew Ruby would be getting prepared for the night's performance but he tried her number anyway just to alert her he would be waiting outside but it went straight to voice mail,so he left her a message and sat outside in the cold,rubbing his palms to generate heat and occasionally jogging back and forth,breaking into a sprint to keep out the cold.

Ruby- I was about to call you when you called back,where are you?
Karl- Am outside at Myles cafe,waiting for you

"I don't think I should meddle in issues between you and your husband,so why did you have to call me to come home"
Natalie sighed and said she needed Karl to take Eddie for a walk,just at that moment,a red-faced Andre walked in and demanded to know how Natalie got those pictures,Natalie screamed at him,tearing his shirt and slapping him across the face several times,Karl didn't move a muscle,he quickly took a crying Eddie out of the house as the couple's screams of argument slowly faded off their hearing.
Hours later when Karl came home,a crying Natalie called Karl aside and told him she would settle with Andre but that Karl has to leave!
"But why! Oh mom,so you would put up with all these rubbish from Andre?where is he by the way?"
Karl roared,charging forward to look for Andre,Natalie calmed him down,assuring him she knew what she was doing and the time wasn't right to get a divorce
"Just give me a few years ok? I signed a pre-nuptial with Andre before we got married and one of the terms of the contract was that am given a few thousand dollars per year of marriage and only payable after seven years of marriage,if I divorce him now,only after five years and based on his infidelity,I might be given a lump sum of money from his fortune but not enough to settle me for a long time,so baby,just be patient"
Karl was left speechless,he sighed and went to his room to pack his things,he couldn't get to see Ruby before he could leave so he simply sent her a text informing her his departure the next day,he called me to inform me of his trip back as I excitedly told my brothers and Mom.
The next morning,Karl quickly went to the mall to get us all some presents and by evening,Karl packed his stuffs,ready to go,he gave Andre who was sitting on their sofa,reading a document, a long,icy,evil stare but he didn't flinch,he slammed the door after him and along with Natalie and Eddie,they went to the airport,kissed a crying Eddie and shared hugs with his mom,thereafter, boarded his nigeria bound plane.
By evening in nigeria,my brothers and i were eagerly waiting at the airport and after what seemed like forever, Karl's virgin atlantic flight touched down at the nnamdi azikiwe international airport,taxied down the runway and stopped,we were so excited to see him,taking turns to hug and pat him on the back,we helped carry his luggage and we went home where he told us in detail and me in particular,the sordid details (for kuwda purposes) all that happened

i really love this trilogy piece upheavals,though am a bit disappointed about how it ended with its again,subtle suspense ''living to fight another day'', also i wasn't blown away by the sexual language,it's not bad but not exactly where it should be,it should be at tandem with maj's descriptive talent,all the same,we want more,this story is unfinished,pleeaasse maaaajjj

this piece just leaves alot of questions,what happens to poor eddie and his condition,what did andre and natalie talk about/i guess the issue of pre-nup is now being used by men or a richer partner to prevent the spouse from ripping them off in the case of a divorce,tom cruise had a similar contract with ex wife katie holmes,i think she was paid 5 million dollars per year of marriage and entitled to 22 million after 10 years if my figures are right and she bolted after only a few years,poor woman,being with tom is really hell on earth,as confirmed by the number of women who feel trapped after engaging with him,so in a way i understand why natalie can't just leave the marriage,if she leaves,she losses,andre is a jerk,she would be left with a kid,that is,if she gets custody since she would be locking horns with a wealthy man and she has no job of her own,so before you all judge natalie,think of her options if she gets a divorce and put yourselves in her shoes,poor woman,we definitely haven't seen the last of this story but it is a real life experience so we can't get to see the end of all issues as though it's a novel,if thats usually the case,we would all conclude it's all fiction,meanwhile,lets all sit back and enjoy more dramas unfolding,i loved this piece though,the entire trilogy,keeping up with you guys

wow,this is super interesting,i believe andre knows natalie can't just leave him,so he doesn't feel like he needs to repent or feel remorseful for treating natalie the way he is doing,i don't blame natalie for courting publicity,she doesn't get that kind of attention everyday,once another A-list celeb messes up,everyone would forget natalie and shift attention,so she needs to build a profile with the media as a sophisticated lady who is fashion conscious because thats what the world recognises,so incase if things eventually get messy,she can either get offers for a book to be written or get into acting,not fizzle out into oblivion,more posts please
